Move Better, Live Fuller, Come Home to Yourself
Longevity is not just living longer. It is being able to keep doing the things that make your life feel like yours.
Getting down on the floor and back up. Carrying your groceries. Traveling. Dancing. Sleeping well. Staying steady when life gets loud. Having enough strength, mobility, and energy to keep showing up.
At Thrive, we teach yoga for the whole person. Your body, your mind, your stress, your strength, your energy, and your actual life.
Some classes make you sweat. Some make you stronger. Some help you slow down. Some help you take the first real breath you have taken all day.
Every class is a way back into your body.
Research supports yoga and other mind-body practices for stress, balance, flexibility, sleep, emotional well-being, and physical function. But you do not need a study to know when something helps you feel more like yourself.
Mindful Movement
-
Flow is breath-led movement that builds heat, strength, mobility, and focus.
You move, sweat, breathe, and get out of your head for a while. Each sequence connects breath with movement, helping you build stamina and coordination without moving on autopilot.
You leave stronger, clearer, and more awake than when you walked in.
-
Flow + Core brings the fire.
This class combines breath-led movement with focused core work to build strength, balance, stability, and control.
And core does not just mean abs. It is the support around your spine and pelvis that helps you stand, balance, transition, lift, twist, and move without feeling like your body is falling apart.
A stronger center makes everything else feel more possible.
-
Hatha gives you time to slow down and actually feel what you are doing.
You hold poses longer, work with alignment, build strength, and pay attention to your breath.
It is simple, but it is not easy. Quiet does not mean passive.
This class works well for beginners, longtime students, and anyone who wants to move with more intention and less momentum.
-
This class is for anyone interested in more than making shapes.
You will notice what is happening beneath the posture: where you hold tension, what emotions come up, where your attention goes, and what changes when you breathe instead of react.
You are not chasing perfect balance. You are learning how to come back when you lose it.
-
Classes include movement, mobility, strength, breathwork, birth preparation, and time to connect with other parents-to-be.
Pregnancy changes your body constantly. This practice gives you space to meet those changes without needing to perform, push through, or pretend everything feels beautiful.
You do not have to move through pregnancy gracefully.
You deserve to be supported through it.
-
Spine Alive uses intentional movement and breathwork to strengthen and mobilize the spine.
You will also work with the hips, shoulders, core, and back body because your spine does not move by itself.
This class supports the movements you use every day: bending, twisting, reaching, sitting, standing, and getting back up.
It is about moving with more freedom and less fear.
-
The warmth helps the body loosen up while the movement builds strength, endurance, and focus.
This is for the days when you need to sweat, shake something loose, and remember that you are still in there.
The heat has a purpose. It is not intensity just to prove you can survive it.
-
Yin is the practice of staying.
Postures are held for longer periods, giving the body time to soften and the mind time to stop running the show.
It asks less from your muscles and more from your attention.
You learn how to be still without checking out. How to soften without collapsing. How to sit with yourself without immediately reaching for a distraction.
Recovery matters. Yin makes room for it.
Strength & Longevity
-
You will work on balance, coordination, recovery, and the physical skills that help you stay independent as you age.
Because living longer means very little if you cannot climb the stairs, carry your bags, travel, garden, dance, play, or get off the floor.
We are all aging. This is not about fighting it.
It is about meeting it with strength, curiosity, and a plan.
-
You still get the breath, mobility, and body awareness of a yoga practice. The weights add resistance, helping your muscles and bones adapt and stay strong.
This class is for anyone who wants to build strength without feeling thrown into the deep end.
Flexibility is useful.
Strength helps you carry your life.
-
Yoga + Weights 2 builds on that foundation with heavier effort, stronger transitions, and more dynamic movement.
You will challenge your endurance, coordination, balance, and full-body strength.
This is not about punishing your body or trying to become someone else.
It is about building a body that can keep supporting your life.
Strong body. Steady breath. Full life.
Recover
-
Using blankets, bolsters, and other props, you will settle into supported poses and give your body time to let go.
There is nothing to prove here.
No pushing. No chasing. No performance.
This is not doing nothing.
This is recovery.
-
This class combines long-held stretches, conscious breathing, and guided meditation.
It is for the days when your shoulders are by your ears, your jaw is locked, and your brain has 47 tabs open.
Stretching creates more room in the body. Breathing helps settle the nervous system. Meditation helps you stop following every thought that walks through the door.
You get to exhale all the way.
-
Fascia uses myofascial release, pressure, breath, and slow movement to work with the body’s deeper layers.
Fascia is connective tissue that runs throughout the body. Stress, injury, repetitive movement, and long periods of sitting can leave us feeling tight, stuck, or restricted.
This class gives you time to listen more closely.
It can be slow. It can be specific. Sometimes it can be intense.
You do not always find more freedom by pushing harder.
Sometimes you have to pay better attention.
-
You will work on mobility, balance, strength, and breath without being rushed or overwhelmed.
Gentle does not mean weak.
It means you are paying attention.
This class is a good fit for beginners, recovery days, students returning to movement, or anyone trying to build a practice they can actually sustain.
-
First, you move.
Then, you receive.
The Hatha portion helps you arrive in your body through steady postures and breath. The sound bath gives you time to rest afterward.
This class lives in the space between effort and letting go.
-
You do not need to know how to meditate. You do not need to be flexible. You do not need to do anything correctly.
You lie down, listen, and let yourself be supported.
This class is for the part of you that is tired of holding everything together.
Breath & Meditate
-
Breath + Meditate teaches practical breathwork and meditation techniques for focus, calm, resilience, and self-awareness.
Your breath is already with you.
This class helps you learn how to work with it.
Meditation is not about forcing your mind to go blank. It is about noticing where your mind goes without letting it drag you everywhere.
The breath brings you back.
Meditation helps you stay.
-
Gong Meditation uses sound as a way into stillness.
For many people, silent meditation feels impossible. The gong gives the mind something to follow until it begins to settle.
You do not have to force yourself into quiet.
You let the sound carry you there.
-
Yoga Nidra is guided rest, sometimes called yogic sleep.
You lie down and follow a guided practice that brings the body into deep relaxation while keeping a small thread of awareness.
It can be helpful when you are stressed, exhausted, emotionally overloaded, or struggling to truly rest.
Rest is not something you have to earn.
Your body needs it.
Play
-
Aerial Yoga 1 uses a suspended hammock for supported poses, gentle inversions, stretching, and play.
The hammock changes your relationship with gravity. It gives you support, feedback, and a chance to try things from a new angle.
You build strength, body awareness, and trust while remembering that movement is allowed to be fun.
Joy matters, too.
-
Aerial Yoga 2 is for students ready for stronger transitions, deeper inversions, and more creative work in the hammock.
You will build grip strength, coordination, spatial awareness, confidence, and courage.
Aging well is not just maintaining function.
It is staying curious enough to keep trying things.
-
Knitting Circle is a place to slow down, make something with your hands, and spend time with other people.
Wellness does not only happen on a yoga mat.
Sometimes it looks like sitting beside someone. Talking. Laughing. Working with your hands. Being reminded that you are not alone.
Community is part of health.
So is creativity. So is slowness.

At Thrive, yoga is not about becoming someone else.
It is about coming back to yourself.
Again and again.
Stronger. Softer. More awake. More alive.
Move. Breathe. Belong.
The biggest change was removing the repeated attempts to explain why each class matters. The descriptions now trust the reader to feel the point instead of being sold the point.
