What Yoga for Seniors Students Need To Know
A gentle yoga class designed specifically for an ageing population. Learn how the many benefits of yoga can help address common age-related issues including strength and flexibility, balance, range of motion, bone health-related reverse or prevent osteoporosis, stress, memory and brain health and overall well being.
This 8-week series will include a practice on mats, with yoga postures, breathwork (pranayama) and meditation to help breathe and enjoy life’s moments. Perfect whether you are new to yoga, coming back to your practice, or want to practice with others of a similar age. Use of props and modifications are encouraged as needed. Chairs are available if getting up and down off of the floor is challenging.
