Photo: Jessica Apo and baby, plus husbandJessica Apo is a certified yoga and prenatal yoga instructor. She taught prenatal yoga while pregnant with her first daughter, Samantha. Teaching prenatal yoga while being pregnant allowed her to feel and understand what her students were going through, creating an organic experience for her. She had a drug-free natural delivery this past November. She credits her stamina and strength during labor to her knowledge of yoga asana and pranayama. She loves teaching prenatal yoga and believes that yoga techniques help parents connect with each other and their unborn child. Mostly, yoga can help in pain management, breathing during labor and overall health while pregnant and after birth!

Photo: Michelle FryGift yourself deep delicious rest. The daily stressors and fast-pace of the holidays taxes your nervous system and creates deeply layered tension in the connective tissue that wraps your muscles, organs, and even bones. This proverbial 'shrink wrap' restricts your flexibility and sense of spaciousness in your body as well as your physiologic function. We will attend to this 'shrink wrap' utilizing Supported Restorative Yoga poses, hands-on energy work and visualization. Your body, mind and spirit will be coaxed into luxurious relaxation. You will remember what it is to feel supported, nurtured, and deeply rested -- as if you have been on a long overdue vacation.

Michelle Fry (RYT 500) holds a Master of Traditional Oriental Medicine and applies therapeutics of yoga along with acupuncture to help students ease pain and re-establish a healthy relationship between nervous and muscular systems. Michele works with students of all levels including athletes and students new to movement/yoga.
