We are seeking a driven Part-Time Membership Sales Representative who enjoys engaging with new students and sharing exciting yoga and wellness related classes and offerings.

About us:

Thrive Yoga began over 14 years ago as the first yoga studio in Rockville. We provide yoga techniques and wellness to the local community. Since our opening, we’ve grown and evolved into a thriving community offering over 60 classes a week in a variety of styles from hot yoga, aerial, beginner yoga, restorative, Thai Massage, Reiki, prenatal, postnatal, and more. We teach hundreds of workshops and events a year that delve into different modalities. We host 4 Yoga Alliance Certified 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Trainings per year, and one 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training per year. Our community consists of everyday people from every walk of life that choose yoga as a venue of growth, laughter, community and continued self-awakening. Join our tribe.

Part- Time Membership Sales Representative Duties include:

  • Ensure the studio revenue/retention goals are exceeded
  • Convert new students into dedicated members and pass holders
  • Proactively engage current clients during your designated shifts and enroll them in upcoming events and trainings tailored to their interests.
  • Memorize all of our programs and pricing options
  • Upgrade and refine our current systems of retention.
  • Create and execute your plan of action for meeting studio goals.
  • Develop and work your own lead system in addition to Manager generated leads.
  • Have previously demonstrated skills in Boutique Management

The qualified candidates will have a minimum of 2 years of sales experience, be highly computer savvy, have strong rapport building skills, be inspirational, and work well in a small business and creative team environment.

Desired Skill sets:

  • Highly Energetic, Personable, Driven, Friendly
  • Previous membership sales experience/ gym membership sales experience is preferred, previous sales experience is a must.
  • Previous Boutique sales or management experience is perferred.
  • Strong work ethic
  • Passion for yoga
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Proactive in generating leads and has demonstrated proven skills in closing sales.
  • Highly Computer Savvy. Picks up technology quickly and is either familiar or can learn quickly the following programs: G-Suite, Canva, Constant Contact, Mindbody Online, MS Office is highly preferred.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $15.00 to $18.00 /hour with the opportunity to grow to full time. 

Seva Yogi

In doing this work, you will be able to experience some of the behind the scenes of yoga business while getting a closer peek into our community. In Studio Option:  In this position, you will be asked to support our front desk staff by:

  • Attending to new students who need tours
  • Answering general questions from students
  • Completing studio maintenance tasks
  • Special projects as assigned by the Thrive Yoga Team


  • Evenings 4:30-9:30 pm
  • Weekends 7:30- 2 pm or 2-7 pm
