Thrive Yoga sponsors the Healthy Challenge Competition. Ten Montgomery County residents have been selected from hundreds of entries received by the Gazette newspaper to form teams to get healthier and collectively lose 100 pounds or more! Thrive has donated yoga classes and services to the “UP County” team. Our team is: Jennifer Boudrye; Jayne Chavis; John Escario; Chandria Jones; Lynda Packard will practice yoga at Thrive for 12-weeks. The overall winner will win $12,000 in prizes and services. Thrive will award the winner a 3-month unlimited yoga series! We will keep you posted on the progress of our team. Thrive Yoga's Yoga for a CauseYoga for a Cause is a charitable program developed by Thrive Yoga to provide awareness and financial assitance for organizations that we feel support our community's health, wholeness, and well-being. Our goal is to unite bodies, minds and spirits by elevating the conciousness of those in need or organizations that are making a difference through their service. Thrive Yoga offers these classes for FREE, asking instead that patrons open their hearts and their wallets with a donation to the sponsored organization. Blogs:Yoga Work Exchange: trade hours for classesThrive Yoga is looking for people interested in trading hours - instead of money - for classes! We ask for four hours of your time for two classes. We also require a 12-week commitment, understanding that some weeks will be busier for us and for you. Tasks include but are not limited to: cleaning the studio, working the front desk/reception, childcare, and helping owners with various tasks.
