Julie, RYT500,  has worked in a  health field for over thirty years. Julie spends most of her discretionary time enjoying hobbies anchored in fitness, wellness and being outdoors in nature. Julie has completed two marathons and competed  at high levels of tennis. Julie gravitated toward yoga as cross training to prevent sports related injuries and soon realized how yoga enhanced so much more than the physical body. Yoga rejuvenated her!

Julie believes that yoga can refine the body to feel better structurally; mentally feel more focused and feel free in spirit. Julie teaches her classes from a philosophy that it is quite important to be physically flexible, mobile and balanced but equally as important, is the practice of building happiness from within.

Julie is part of the Thrive Yoga Teacher Training faculty and enjoys teaching Yin Yoga, Restorative, Yoga Nidra, Meditation, Hatha and Vinyasa flow. Julie leads a fluid and challenging class with a sense of humor.
