Future Rookie of the Year:

Enjoy learning about yoga for you. Yoga Rookie  is perfect for you if you are new to yoga, desire to learn the basics or haven’t practiced in a while and want to make the transition back to a regular practice.

You will be guided through

  • The beginner and fun postures (asanas) with attention to proper alignment
  • Breathing techniques (pranayama)
  • De-stress, concentration and meditation
  • The benefits of yoga
  • Why does yoga work?
  • The different styles of yoga practice and which one is right for you
  • Using yoga for wellness and fitness

You also will learn how to adapt yoga postures to your ability and body type and how to use props for a more enjoyable practice.
