Nurture yourself ~ Get strong & flexible for labor ~ Connect to baby ~ Connect with other moms-to-be

8 Week Sessions | $128 [Sign up]

Drop-ins always welcome

Appropriate for any trimester with any level of experience in yoga including beginners. Prenatal yoga is designed and sequenced to help alleviate common discomforts in pregnancy and to prepare moms for labor and early motherhood.

Asana (postures) practice targets tight and tired lower backs and opens hips. Sequences will help to strengthen legs and prepare the body for childbirth. Pranayama (breathing exercises) practice will lead to increased vitality and train moms-to-be to manage pain through breathing. Visualization and concentration techniques will build confidence and calm.

Thrive Prenatal Yoga teachers are certified and trained specifically in Prenatal Yoga.

Of all the classes we offer, we receive the most incredible and rewarding feedback from our new moms who were our prenatal students. Here are a couple of those comments:

I wanted to thank you for the time you spent with our class each Monday evening for the past eight weeks. I hope to pop in here and there until I deliver, but know that the info I learned from your class is used daily on my bedroom floor. You are great at relaxing and motivating others to find the time for relaxation! - Stephanie B.

…(Thrive) classes were great in preparing me for childbirth. I had a natural childbirth and used the vowel soundings to help me through some of the intense moments, as well as general stamina.- L.W.
