Vinyasa Flow
Evolving from ashtanga yoga, vinyasa is often considered an American contribution to the ancient practice of yoga. Americans do like variety and choice and you certainly get that in a vinyasa yoga class. Each vinyasa class is unique. Poses are stringed together with the “vinyasa”, a small series of breath synchronized movements.
If this class were to have a priority, it would be to find freedom in movement while de-toxing through deep breathing and body heat. Thrive teachers are trained to cue alignment principles and offer variations in breathing exercises to heat up and cool down the body and the mind through flowing sequences.
Vinyasa Flow is offered in a variety of levels so every student can find their inner athlete.
